Back Online After Ten Years
Saturday, August 1st, 2026
I’m feeling incredibly happy, joyful, and exhilarated that this site is finally back online after being shut down for almost ten years.

It feels like I healed an injury and restored my health and well-being.
In 2016, a hacker compromised a huge number of WordPress blogs, mine being one of them. I couldn’t recover it easily. With everything else going on, I was saddened, shut it down, and redirected everything to Medium.
It’s not a move I would have made had my site not been hacked and damaged so much. I wrote a little bit on Medium, and I never loved it. Going from my own platform to something else never felt right. It showed ads and featured other things that weren’t essential to what I wanted to share.
I wasn’t interested in setting up another WordPress blog either. My last post talks about wanting to switch several years ago. A long time later, it’s finally done—and even better, without WordPress.
Finally, with the advent of AI, this has been made easier than ever. We’ve been able to restore most of what we could retrieve, and recovering over 20 years of writing has been incredibly meaningful to me.
I started publishing when I was 19, over 20 years ago. Looking back at what I wrote brings up a variety of emotions. Most are positive, although some make me cringe. Some make me laugh out loud. Others remind me of pivotal moments in my life.
I’m not the same person I was back then. Now, at 39, with a lot more life experience and personal development, my outlook has changed completely. My beliefs, my writing, my community, and the way I look at the world are all different.
I thought about not putting my old posts back up. In the end, I decided to embrace them. They help me understand the journey I’ve been on and the thought process I once had. They’re a reminder of where I came from and how much I’ve grown.
Nowadays, I do a lot more private writing in my journals—handwritten, digital, and voice memos. Without using social media as much, I also tend to share more with the closer, most important people in my life. I haven’t shared nearly as much publicly as I once did.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized my true passion is helping others fulfill what matters most to them. That’s the core reason I’ve continued to share throughout the years, even if the way I’ve done it has changed.
In the past, I mostly wrote about entrepreneurship, investing, real estate, and internet marketing. Now I find myself writing more about what matters most in life. Honing our values. Getting clear about the principles we want to live by. Becoming the best possible versions of ourselves in each moment.
That’s what I want to share here, along with the other random things I think are meaningful along the way.
With AI proliferating, I currently don’t see the need to allow comments anymore. It’ll become harder to know what is really from you. Instead, if you’d like to comment, you’re always welcome to reach out and say hello.
I’m also going to be starting a long-overdue personal newsletter. It will be separate from my blog, and I don’t expect to simply republish my blog posts there. What I most want to do is capture timeless principles and share them with others. I’ve been writing a book around those ideas, and I’ll be sharing some of them along the way.
If I’m being my best self, I’ll write about what matters most to me. The things that have shaped my life. The ideas and principles I believe will have the greatest impact throughout the rest of the time we have together.
That’s what I’ll strive to do.
Thank you for being with me. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day. <3
