This is the second video of our up and coming Affiliate Summit West 2009 interview series featured on the new TV202. This interview is with Neil Turner from NeilsWeb. Neil is an internet marketer who focuses his time on Facebook marketing almost exclusively. Naturally we made the topic of this interview about marketing on Facebook.
Like last year, we put together some interviews for the 202 community. This year, we’ve refined our processes slightly and have a much more solid video production run. Before I just had one camcorder; now we use three camcorders to get 3 different angled views. Our video guy Aaron Glinski is helping put the videos together, it has been a pleasure working him this far. We shot almost ten interviews during this year’s Affiliate Summit West 2009 convention. The first interview we did was with Ad Hustler and Ian Fernando, which I’ll be showing below. You’ll notice the new TV202 website, this will be our future video storing house for anything we produce in the future.
This was a great interview I saw on TechCrunch that I really enjoyed, the first part was with Chris Anderson, author of the Long Tail, and he is talking about why the web is free, and why services even like Tracking202 is free. We are just following the trend of successful online mega businesses with our philosophy on giving away services. The last part is with Michael Arrington who has some great thoughts about technology in general.
Mike Semira is my personal affiliate manager at CXDigital, I was very impressed with their presence at the Affiliate Summit West convention last month. They had a great booth location, and everyone in the company was great to talk to, we also had a lot of fun at the gathering they put together during the event. Enjoy the video interview, Mike Semira with CXDigital, check it out!
This is an interview with Adam Dufresne from MaxBounty, unfortunately this is the interview that had the most audio interference out of all the ones we did. However, Adam emphasis communication is extremely important in getting the most of your relationship with your affiliate manager. He also emphasis continuing education by reading blogs, and taking action by putting what you learn to use.
Adam was one of the first affiliate managers to actually beta test the product themselves, Adam has been a great help and is a great person to talk to online and offline, make sure you talk to Adam when you get started with MaxBounty. I have loved working with MaxBounty so far, and I highly recommend them to anyone. There interface may look outdated, but their tracking works wonderful and they pay on-time, every-time.
